Lymphoma

“He just comes in and tells me. You have a lymphoma cancer Hodgkin’s. Then everything started running through my mind. It was totally unexpected. I thought I was going to die. I don’t do anything to harm myself. The first thing I wondered is why me?

-Jonathan Cervenak, Lymphoma patient

At any given time, we have about 1,000,000,000,000 lymphocytes in our body. Our immune system is our defense system against the invaders of the world. That is what makes lymphoid cancers so scary is that they are a cancer of the immune system and this disease attacks the very system that should be enforcing our well-being.

This blog site explores this malignant, silent and deadly cancer from the anatomy, sub-types of the disease to diagnostic techniques and treatment. Please explore as you wish or click on one of the following links to be taken directly to that page. Feel free to leave any questions or comments.
